Navy Pier Marina
Boaters from Chicago and around the Great Lakes now have a modern mooring facility in the heart of Chicago.
A Legacy Project
The building was designed to fit in harmony with Navy Pier, providing a modern facility with a retro look while utilizing shipping containers that are traditionally single-use and a burden on the environment unless repurposed. A 300-foot floating concrete wave-attenuating breakwater protects the marina, and 8,000 linear feet of Structurmarine floating aluminum docks are installed along Navy Pier's north side.
