Creating a Brighter Future for Young Girls
One of our favorite passion projects: a safe haven for trafficked girls in northern Illinois. This group home provides girls and women with a secure and nurturing environment until a permanent residence can be found. Designed by the talented SICBS in-house architect, this is a first type of building using modular construction in the area.
Project Highlights
At SI Container Builds, we understand that the built environment influences emotional wellbeing. Thoughtful layouts, durable materials, and warm residential design elements all work together to create a setting where healing can begin. In addition, this 6,400-square-foot home can be completed in roughly five months, compared to the typical 12–18 months for a traditional stick-built structure—meaning the girls are able to move into a safe, supportive environment much sooner and begin their healing journey.
This project represents what’s possible when mission-driven organizations collaborate to support vulnerable youth. We are proud to help build a space that provides protection, hope, and a foundation for a brighter future.
